Topic: Technical and economic analysis of a Power-to-Gas plant in Luxembourg
Background: In the future, modern Power-to-Gas plants will increasingly contribute to use the CO2 emissions from different plants (e.g. wastewater treatment plants) to convert the CO2 emissions into "green" methane. This process requires green hydrogen and a methanisation reactor. This green methane can be used to replace e.g. natural gas and contributes directly to accelerating the energy transition.
A detailed project plan for the technology and economic analysis of a Power-to-Gas plant has already been prepared and offers a lot of flexibility for a comprehensive analysis of different plant components as well as the assessment of the economic viability under different utilization scenarios.
