Senior Process Engineer Power-To-X (m/f/d)

To expand our research and development activities in order to set technological standards in the forward-looking field of Power-To-X technologies for the production of synthetic fuels and downstream products, we want to strengthen our H2 team. The base location for this position will be in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking on an important role in our various Power to X projects, starting from the early conceptual phase through to commissioning
  • Through your technical expertise, you contribute to increase the competence of the team for the generation of syngas and/or hydrogen as well as for the renewable fuel production
  • Management of related research projects and assistance to commercial projects
  • Lead and coordinate activities with our Engineering Services
  • Development of alternative processing routes and carry out first wave techno-economic analyses (e.g. OPEX and CAPEX estimations)
  • Develop IP landscape identification and potential differentiation.

Must Have:

  • Degree in process or chemical engineering or in another comparable technical field
  • Deep experience in the petrochemical industry, chemical industry or in a similar industrial environment. Experience in the operation and/or commissioning of relevant plants is considered as an advantage.
  • Expertise in the design of petrochemical plant units and equipment with focus on Gas –To-Liquid / Power – To- X processes
  • Fundamental programming and simulation skills
  • Project management capabilities
  • Fluent in English
  • Autonomous working combined with strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Ready to travel worldwide and collaborate with multinational teams.


Nice To Have:

German and/or French language skills.
