Description:

As Senior Project Manager, you will coordinate, manage and lead large-scale, international projects and you will be the interface between our customers and our internal organization for project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall project leader and customer contact

o    Responsibility for complex, large-scale projects starting at nomination as Project Manager up to completion of the contractual obligations

o    Represent our company in its external relationship with the customer, suppliers and partners

  • Actively Leading the entire project team in consultation with the departmental line managers and ensuring a functional project organisation
  • Coordination, organization and monitoring of the projects during all project phases

o    Break down of the overall project in various work packages, define interfaces and agree responsibilities with involved departments in term of costs, scope, time and quality

  • Project costs/revenues and time control
  • Identify and monitor project risks; define, implement and follow-up of measures taken to minimize them
  • Change and claim management
  • Ensuring project execution leads to expected project results.

Must Have:

  • Degree in mechanical / civil engineering or business administration
  • Prior experience as Senior Project Manager or higher for large scale, international projects in a similar industrial / plant construction environment
  • Fluent in English; for office communication, a good command in German and/or French is required
  • Excellent communication and people relationship skills
  • Well trained negotiation and organisational skills
  • High degree of initiative and self-responsibility and able to work in a professional and independent manner
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel worldwide and to work with multinational teams.

Nice To Have:

  • PM certification is considered as an advantage
